Uluru
Took these photos at
Uluru (Ayers Rock) in 2000.
Kings Canyon
Here's another photo from the 2000 Central Australia trip. I took it near
Kings Canyon, in
Watarrka National Park in the
Northern Territory, looking up toward the top of a rock face.
Our friends, the trees
I took these photos back in first semester last year, for an assignment, but never actually used them. So yesterday I
did.
The trees in the blue and red photos are
eucalypts (gum trees) in
Dandenong Ranges National Park. The tree in the yellow one is an oak, in my parents' backyard.
Desert
Took both of these photos in September 2000, somewhere between
Adelaide and
Coober Pedy, in
South Australia. The first one was taken through the bus window, while we were moving. Both came out absolutely awful, but I think now I've been able to make something out of them.
Keith underpass
As I have no money to get photos developed at the moemnt (partly because I'm moving back to Melbourne tomorrow night) here is an old photo I've just never posted.
This is the railway underpass in Keith, where I took
my first silo pictures. It has to be the longest railway underpass I've ever seen. It was extremely dark inside and the length of the tunnel made the echoes sound pretty weird.
Stenciling
I've been in Melbourne this weekend at my parents' place.
While I've been here I've introduced my brother Yedsa to blogging (check out his new graffiti blog,
MelBurners and
he introduced
me to
stenciling. The piece below is based on
this photo.
