Trav's glovebox

This is Trav's glovebox. It is broken. Therefore, it has to be held shut with electrical tape. The electrical tape normally holds for about half an hour.

Image hosting problems

I'm having problems with my image host at the moment, so the posts effected have been temporarily removed. Hopefully they'll be back soon.

Disoriented

The reason for the title of this post is that I don't remember where or exactly when I took the photo. It looks like it's probably in the outer-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. But who knows, maybe it's somewhere in Ballarat?

Decadent dunny

This restroom is somewhere in Ballarat. I won't say where, for fear of getting sued. The toilet-paper-holder-thingy and liquid-soap-squirty-thing have both been busted and, yes, that is a disposable nappy (daiper) that's been left on the table.

Streetlamp forest

I took this at the intersection of Gillies Street and Howitt Street, in Wendouree. You can just see the roof of Harvey Norman in the bottom, lefthand corner.

Politically incorrect

It seems University of Ballarat is still a little behind the times...

Ballarat Station

Last night, as Russ and I drove back from a Universe campus workers meeting (my first), Russ started talking about how sad he finds it that the railways are so disused now. He reckons that at one stage the train station would've been such a busy place, full of life, lots of stuff happening, and really important to the different towns and cities across the country. But if you go to one of these stations now, it just seems empty, the people just seem tired, they want to get home.
